I’m down 25 pounds most recently using Semaglutide (the generic form of Ozempic or Wegovy) with my total weight loss at 32.2 pounds, plus eating mostly vegan with a small cheat meal once or twice a month. I exercise 1-2x per week and I have been using meal delivery kits from Purple Carrot, a vegan service that delivers the meals to my house. About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a real weight loss update: I’m down 42.2 pounds total from my highest weight of 210, and I’m down 25 pounds of that using semaglutide (the generic form of Ozempic/Wegovy). I’m 5’2 1/2, so carrying that extra weight was rough—stairs, being out of breath, foot pain, all of it. And if you’ve been with me for a while, you know binge eating disorder has been the bane of my existence for decades, so I’m not here to sugarcoat anything. I also explain why I decided to try semaglutide even though I was originally against it. I used to be okay with prescription appetite suppressants like Tenuate years ago, but I didn’t want to rely on stimulants. With semaglutide, I’m keeping my dose low (0.25) because for me the biggest win is that it stops the bingeing—if I don’t binge, I’m like a normal human being. I talk about taking a break, noticing the “creep” of regain when bingeing came back, and then restarting. On top of that, I give some practical health tips I’m using right now: using a pressure cooker for beans/rice/grains to break down lectins, chewing my food properly (30–50 chews per bite) for better digestion and satiety, and staying on top of water—especially because constipation can happen for me if I overeat or don’t hydrate. I’m sharing what’s working, and giving God the glory.
