In this video, I talk about 3 topics that have been hot on my radar lately: 1. What I have learned about a correlation between blood sugar being out of whack and binge eating. Resource is the "Brain Over Binge Recovery Guide" (link to purchase that book is below). 2. Hunger and fullness disregulation. 3. Eating extra food on Bright Line Eating - and feeling empowered to do that because of the Fifth Bright Line coaching calls with Dr. Joy in the Bright Line Eating membership app. **Purchase the book “Brain Over Binge” by Kathryn Hansen - https://amzn.to/35FnohK **Purchase the book “Brain Over Binge Recovery Guide” by Kathryn Hansen - https://amzn.to/3os99nb SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL FOR NEW VIDEOS TO HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT EVERY SATURDAY AT 12 P.M. About This Video

In this video I’m talking about three things that have been really hot on my radar lately: blood sugar and binge eating, hunger/fullness signal dysregulation, and what it looks like to eat “extra food” on Bright Line Eating without feeling like I’m failing. I share a super relatable scenario—when I binge at night and wake up the next morning feeling ravenous, like “eat the house,” even though my stomach is probably still full. What I learned from the Brain Over Binge Recovery Guide is that this can be your blood sugar being out of whack, and that simple, strategic food can help. I also share what I’ve been learning from Dr. Joy’s Fifth Bright Line coaching calls inside the Bright Line Eating membership. One of the biggest takeaways for me is that after years of binge eating, hunger and fullness signals can be dysregulated—so I can’t always trust those signals right away. That’s why Dr. Joy often recommends adding a fourth meal (and sometimes even a fifth) to prevent binge thoughts, especially for those of us coming off binge eating. Finally, I get real about sustainability: after a binge, I personally need to plan extra yummy food for a few days. If I pack something I dread (like a raw salad with quinoa), I won’t eat it—and that’s where the “what the heck effect” can creep in. For me, having appealing, satisfying food ready is a tool, not a weakness.
