In this 6 months review, I share how the Move has actually fit into my workflow — where it excels, where it falls short, how the colour E-Ink implementation works, and how it compares to my Kindle Scribe. If you’re considering the @remarkablepaper Paper Pro Move, or trying to decide between it and the Kindle Scribe, hopefully this video helps. About This Video

Six months after buying the reMarkable Paper Pro Move, I’m still using it every single week — and that’s the main point of this video. Someone told me the novelty would wear off and it would end up in a drawer, but the opposite happened: I reach for it almost instinctively when I need quick handwritten notes. The reason is simple: the size. It’s compact enough to just chuck in a bag without feeling like I’m carrying “another bit of tech”, and in client situations it looks far more intentional than tapping notes into a phone. Battery life has been a quiet strength too — I charge it maybe a couple of times a month and it’s never caught me out. I also talk through what has (and hasn’t) clicked over time: the writing feel is still excellent with that controlled resistance, but the narrower surface can feel tight compared to a Kindle Scribe. Colour E Ink is clever here (it generates colour within each pixel), but the refresh/flashing behaviour means I mostly stick to black and white. I don’t use it for reading, I cancelled the subscription because I didn’t need cloud sync, and I still script on my iPad with a keyboard. The big caveat is price — it’s expensive — but as a focused, distraction-free portable writing device, it’s earned its place.
