reMarkable Paper Pro Move

The reMarkable Paper Pro Move has stayed in my workflow because it’s compact, focused, and genuinely feels closer to a notepad than a tablet. Six months in, I still reach for it almost instinctively for quick handwritten notes and rough planning sketches. It’s expensive, and colour isn’t as useful as I hoped, but as a distraction-free writing device it does exactly what it sets out to do.

Buy on Amazon

You'll be taken to Amazon to complete your purchase.

Pros

  • +Compact form factor that’s easy to carry and use anywhere
  • +Excellent writing feel with controlled resistance (not like writing on glass)
  • +Distraction-free experience with no apps or notifications competing for attention
  • +Strong battery life; only needs charging a couple of times a month in my use
  • +Looks more intentional than taking notes on a phone in client situations

Cons

  • -High price (around £400 before accessories)
  • -Narrower writing surface can feel tight; wrist can fall off the edge
  • -Colour E Ink refresh/flashing is noticeable, so colour is less useful day-to-day
  • -Brightness could be a bit higher compared to a Kindle
  • -Cloud sync features are behind a subscription (which I didn’t need)

What The Spark! says

I recall receiving a comment on my remarkable Paper Pro Move video which said something like, "Once the novelty has worn off, you'll stop using it after a week and it'll just gather dust in a drawer
" Well, it's been 6 months with the remarkable paper pro move for me and I'm still using it every single week
