I get asked all the time what I use to clean out dusty PCs, what keyboard I’m using on the bench, and what all the little “random” gadgets are that keep showing up in my videos. So in this one, I basically shoved a bunch of the tools I use constantly—stuff that’s genuinely useful in a homelab/workbench setup, but almost never makes sense to dedicate an entire video to on its own. I cover the slim Monoprice SlimRun patch cables I like for testing and patch panel work (plus a quick PoE gauge caveat), the air dusters I actually use (mains-powered XPOWER for raw punch, and the tiny-but-surprisingly-strong Fanttik B10 Pro Max when I want USB-C battery convenience), and the boring-but-effective Kill-A-Watt that’s always on my bench because I still haven’t found a better not-stupid-expensive option. From there it’s all the small stuff that saves time: the Logitech K400+ for quick wireless testing, 99% IPA and coffee filters for cleaning, a big magnet for carpet screw recovery, and the Ventoy/USB-drive situation I rely on for OS installs. Then I get into the things that level up tinkering: a Pinecil soldering iron you can power from USB-C PD, a UGREEN battery bank I basically live out of, and a Brady M210 labeler with cloth labels for cables that actually stay labeled. Finally, I talk screwdrivers—what I use most day-to-day and why my iFixit kit mostly only comes out for the weird bits now.
