The Pinecil is my favorite soldering iron because it’s tiny, portable, and easy to power with USB-C PD (or a 12–24V barrel jack). It gets plenty hot for the kind of tinkering I do, and replacement parts are available if you ever need them. It’s the one I can toss in a backpack and forget about until I suddenly need it.
