About This Video

In this video I share the big news in my world: I quit Bright Line Eating again and switched to calorie counting—and honestly, I’m so much happier right now. Bright Line Eating kept triggering me to binge, and since I struggle with binge eating disorder, I had to be real with myself. When January 1st rolled around, I decided I’m not doing that cycle anymore. I want to eat what I want in moderation, track it, and live like a normal person. So far it’s been two weeks (today is January 15th), and I’m down seven pounds total. I’m not pretending it’s all “real” fat loss because I know the beginning of any plan comes with water weight—especially after holiday binge eating—but I’m excited about how sustainable this feels. I’m eating up to 1,750 calories a day, letting myself eat about five times a day, and even budgeting in little treats. My blood sugar has been stable, and mentally I feel free. I also show you a fun “tea time” snack idea to prove I can enjoy food without spiraling.
