The carnivore diet has been getting a lot of hate online, and I understand why it's controversial. I was vegan for 6 months last year (in 2023) and now I feel soooo much better doing the carnivore/ketovore diet! I strive for strict carnivore but am much more likely to include a few minimal plant tidbits here and there (such as a teaspoon of MCT oil in my bulletproof coffee in the morning and a tablespoon of Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo in my deviled eggs) but most of the time I'm chewing on chunks of meat, LOL. The health benefits have been tremendous. Looking at myself on this video compared to a video I had uploaded a year ago on my channel, I feel so proud of how far I've come. My highest weight ever was 210 pounds and now I'm 172. I started carnivore/ketovore weighing 190, and I think I started in February... the issue with me is that I will lose a lot of weight and then unfortunately, because I suffer from Binge Eating Disorder, I'll go crazy and binge eat and gain back a lot of it. It is a frustrating cycle but I will say that doing carnivore/ketovore has actually made it way less likely that I'll binge eat. I can now go weeks without binge eating, and that's a huge game changer. Let's see how far I can take this journey! My goal is 150 pounds. About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a real-life update on my carnivore/ketovore journey and why I went from being vegan for 6 months to mostly eating animal products. Carnivore gets a lot of hate online, and I get why it’s controversial, but I’m always going to tell you the same thing: do your research and then go based on how you feel. For me, this way of eating has made me feel amazing in a way that no other eating plan has in as long as I can remember. I break down what “carnivore” means for me (meat, eggs, dairy, fish/shellfish) and how I actually live it day to day—mostly ketovore with tiny plant “tidbits,” like a teaspoon of MCT oil in my bulletproof coffee and sometimes a tablespoon of avocado oil mayo in deviled eggs. Weight-wise, my highest was 210, I started carnivore/ketovore around 190, and I’m currently 172—almost 20 pounds down. The bigger win is binge eating: because my blood sugar feels more stable, I’m way less prone to binge, and I can go weeks without it, which is a huge game changer for me. I also talk about other benefits I’m noticing (mental clarity, focus, energy, sleep), why I’m done with Bright Line Eating for good, and my goal to get to 150 pounds—taking it one day at a time.
