I’ve definitely entered my cozy hobby era, and I made this video because I needed something that would actually calm my brain down when my anxiety was really bad (especially around my driving test and an exam). When I get like that, I can’t focus, I can’t watch anything, and I feel like my hands need to be busy—so I started trying affordable, cozy hobbies I could do at home during winter when it’s dark early and I’m basically in hibernation mode. I’m sharing all the cozy hobbies that have genuinely helped me feel more relaxed and like I’m healing my inner child a bit—things like diamond painting (so satisfying), knitting (my “scarf” turned into a bed decoration), abstract painting for decorating my new house, and cute little build kits that feel like puzzles but also become decor. I also talk about pottery painting, air dry clay ideas, coloring books with pens (so TikTok-coded but I get the hype), paint by numbers (way more time-consuming than I expected), plus crocheting and embroidery kits I’m excited to try.
