About This Video

Good day you rotten lot—today I’ve got the Soran Tiny Stomp on the desk and we’re doing a quick, proper listen through every reverb in the unit. There are only six, so I crank the levels up a fair bit and play lots of short, sharp, stabby notes so you can really hear the reflections, decay, and how each algorithm sits behind the initial attack. I run through Room (nice and short with great reflections), Hall (lovely, though I noticed a little software quirk where it felt like the pre-delay was changing), Plate (only two controls, but loads of you will care about this one), Spring (bright, splashy, and bouncy), Shimmer (not really my thing, but it’s actually pretty cool), and a darker setting where I push “damp” up and enjoy how it stays out of the way. Big takeaway for me: tone control on reverb is massive. If the reverb isn’t too bright, you can pile it on and your pick attack still sits on top—your core guitar tone stays clear. And beyond reverbs, this Tiny Stomp is a wild little piece of kit: battery power, stereo outs, 100 presets, up to 10 effects at once, plus a looper and drum machine (and the looper syncs to the drums). Not a paid presentation—just a straight demo so you can decide if it’s your kind of box.
