Finding the sweet spot between tone and portability is never easy. With the new GP-50, Valeton takes that challenge head-on. Building on the beloved GP-5, the GP-50 pushes the boundaries with more power, more flexibility, and more ways to play. It is everything players loved about the GP-5, expanded and refined for today’s musicians. The GP-5 proved that small can be mighty. The GP-50 embraces a slightly larger footprint to unlock even bigger potential. It comes loaded with a 1450 mAh rechargeable battery, a bright color display, a brand new user interface, more knobs and footswitches, and an expanded set of connections. Every upgrade is designed to give players more control and more creative freedom. At Valeton, we listen closely to what musicians ask for, and the GP-50 delivers exactly that. #guitaraccessories #guitarist #guitareffects #stratocaster #guitarpedals #pedalboard #GP-50 #valetongp5 #valeton #multieffects You can buy us a coffee now too if you'd like to help the channel out?? About This Video

In this video I’m putting the Valeton GP-50 under the microscope and asking the big question: is it the GOAT? I’ve owned the GP-5 as well (that little chap), and the GP-50 feels like the natural successor—slightly bigger, two footswitches, a bright color display, a new UI, more knobs, and more connections. I bought it myself (like we do with everything), so I can tell you straight how it really is, regardless of price point. I walk through why this compact multi-effects unit is such a “Swiss Army knife” for guitar: noise reduction, comps, boosts, drives, amp and cab emulations, IR loading, plus NAM snapshots converted into “snap tones” you can drop into a patch. There are solid EQ options (including a Mesa/Boogie-style EQ), delays, reverbs, a proper silent tuner, and even practice tools like a metronome with multiple time signatures and a drum machine with loads of genres. I also demo quick preset hopping (Mesa Dual Rectifier-style patch, Twin/JC-style cleans, leads, blues, jazz, heavy stuff), and show two Bluetooth wins: editing from the app and streaming audio from my phone—handy for playing music between sets while I’m out chatting with the crowd. Bottom line: it’s a damn good shot at “greatest of all time” for convenience and capability in a small footprint.
