About This Video

It’s been a minute since I posted, and yeah—I fell way behind on reviews. Soundpeats actually sent me the Air5 Pro a while back, so in this video I finally get around to talking about them as an everyday carry set of true wireless earbuds. Overall, they land where a lot of Soundpeats stuff lands for me: convenient, comfortable, and tuned in a way that’s generally “safe” and listenable for most people. The big day-to-day thing for me with TWS is the case, and the Air5 Pro case is still small, flatter, and pocket-friendly—which matters a lot more than people want to admit. That said, Soundpeats changed the design to a diagonal split lid, and I’m not a huge fan. It works, but it feels less sturdy and has more wobble than their older case design. The earbuds themselves are a shallow-fit AirPods Pro style, so comfort and accessibility are solid. Sound-wise, they keep that Harman-leaning Soundpeats vibe with controlled bass (not the bloated, congested mess you get from a lot of budget wireless). The notable change is a bit less upper-mid ear gain than previous models, which I personally prefer because straight Harman can get shouty to my ear. They’re not “audiophile wired IEM replacement” level, but at around $80, with good comfort, improved ANC, and battery that lasts me basically a full workday in normal mode, they’re a pretty competitive package.
