Over the past few months, I’ve been publishing The Weekly Spark news videos alongside reviews and opinion pieces. While many of you have enjoyed the weekly tech news, it’s become clear that not everyone wants that content mixed in with reviews. Rather than forcing everything into one place, I’ve decided to give The Weekly Spark its own home. From now on, all weekly tech news content will be published on a separate channel called The Weekly Spark, while this channel will continue to focus on reviews, unboxings, guides, and deeper dives. If you enjoy the news content, you can subscribe to The Weekly Spark here: https://www.youtube.com/@TheWeeklySpark?sub_confirmation=1 If you’re here mainly for reviews, nothing changes for you! Thanks for watching for supporting the channel. ——— 📩 Subscribe to my regular(ish) newsletter - https://markdkelly.substack.com ☕️ Buy me a virtual coffee - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/markdkelly75 I've collated a massive list of all my favourite things on my website 👉🏻 https://www.markkelly.me/affiliate-links Come follow me here: ✖️https://x.com/markdkelly75 🧵 https://www.threads.net/@markdkelly75 📷 https://www.instagram.com/markdkelly75

About This Video

Hey friends, Mark from The Spark here. In this video I explain a small but important change: I’ve created a second channel so my weekly tech news doesn’t get mixed in with the reviews you originally subscribed for. Since October 2025 I’ve been publishing The Weekly Spark every Friday—quick, news-based rundowns covering what’s happened in the last seven days across Kindle, E Ink devices, the iPad, and the wider tech space around them. A lot of you have told me you genuinely enjoy the format (and even my presentation style), and honestly, I enjoy making them too—the rhythm of making sense of the week is a lot of fun. But I’ve also noticed a real tension: some people want the weekly news, others understandably don’t want it sitting alongside reviews, unboxings, guides, and deeper dives. Over time that’s shown up in comments, feedback, and even people unsubscribing after a news upload—and that’s completely fair. So rather than forcing everything under one roof, I’m giving The Weekly Spark its own proper home on a sister channel (also called The Weekly Spark). From now on, all weekly news goes there, and this channel stays focused on reviews and longer-form content—nothing’s being replaced or diluted.
