Amaze. Amaze. Amaze. In this video I hit record the second the Project Hail Mary film trailer dropped, because if you’ve been around here, you know this book is an absolute five-star for me. The movie is projected to come out on March 20th (my birthday, which is obviously a sign), and I could not wait one more second to see what they did with it. I’m only like 30 seconds in and I’m already sold—Ryan Gosling as Grace? Yes. Immediately yes. Also, the trailer had me wanting to reread the book so bad. I react in real time to all the big moments: the vibes, the music (they used a Harry Styles song and I fully lost it), and that emotional punch of seeing a story you already love come to life. I genuinely start crying because there’s just something about knowing what’s coming and still being completely overwhelmed. I also talk about Rocky—"Call you Rocky"—and how excited I am to see that relationship on screen. By the end, I’m basically begging the universe to let me watch it early because waiting 8–9 months feels illegal.
