About This Video

This right here might be my biggest haul yet, so hear me out. I’d been doing pretty good about not purchasing books… and then I traded out about 40–45 books from my physical TBR. I thrift most of my books, so it’s honestly way too easy for me to justify it—especially when the place I trade gives me credit back and their prices are super reasonable. Add in Book Outlet (which is going to get me every single time) and a couple Barnes trips later, and suddenly I’ve got a huge collective haul from the month of May. The damage has been done, and I have no regrets. In this video I break everything down into three piles: “trophies” I bought because I already loved the story (like Remarkably Bright Creatures and Deep Cuts), books I purchased and then immediately read (If We Were Villains, Fearless, and a copy of Great Big Beautiful Life because audio got a little confusing for me), and then the unread books going straight onto my TBR. I also share a really special milestone for me—my first ever ARCs, including my first physical ARC. If you love cozy bookish mom life content, this is basically a peek into how I build my TBR: I go in blind on purpose, trust my sources and ratings, and keep my shelves stocked without paying full price whenever I can.
