In this video I review the brand new ZiiGaaT Doscinco in-ear monitors and break down what you actually get for the money—unboxing, build quality, cable, fit, and of course the sound. Doscinco is a hybrid IEM with five drivers per side (two 10 mm dynamic drivers in an isobar configuration plus three balanced armatures), and it comes in glossy medical-grade resin shells with metal nozzles. I also talk about the included accessories and why, in my opinion, the packaging and case don’t really match the asking price. Sound-wise, the Doscinco is all about fun: a crazy amount of bass with excellent control, warm and lush mids, and a smooth, rounded treble that’s very forgiving. It’s easy to drive, but during my testing it clearly scaled with more powerful sources, so I recommend using something stronger than a basic dongle if you want to get the most out of it. I finish with direct comparisons against THIEAUDIO Hype 2 and Hype 4—where Doscinco wins on bass quantity and value versus Hype 2, but Hype 4 is the overall better performer for me thanks to its more natural timbre, higher detail, and better staging and layering.
