In this video I’m sharing photos I took in San Francisco with my Fujifilm X100V using the Cinestill 50D film simulation recipe from FujiXWeekly. I walk you through how the images look in real-world travel and street shooting, and why this recipe immediately stood out to me when the light is bright and clean. It’s one of those looks that adds a fun vibe without feeling overly stylized, which is exactly what I want when I’m documenting a trip and still want the photos to feel natural. I followed the recipe’s suggestion to slightly overexpose, and I’m really happy with the results I got—especially in daylight. The main tweak I’d personally consider if I use it again is adjusting the white balance to be a little less warm, depending on the scene.
