If you use the Fujifilm X100V, you might want to try this filter kit for yourself! In this video, I’m reviewing the Freewell CPL/GMIST filter with lens hood — a kit that combines circular polarization and diffusion in one. It also works on the X100VI or any other X100 series camera! 📷 GEAR FEATURED: Freewell CPL/GMIST Filter w/ Lens Hood → https://linkmix.co/25782711 MY PRESETS: https://ko-fi.com/s/ded2034058 https://www.instagram.com/kendrasananikone/ Like the music I used in this video? About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the Freewell CPL/GMIST filter + lens hood kit and why I genuinely think it’s one of the best value accessories you can add to a Fujifilm X100V (and it’ll work on the X100VI or other X100 series cameras too). It’s an all-in-one setup: a circular polarizer and a diffusion filter combined, with a hood on the front. I show how it installs (you just screw it on) and how you adjust the CPL using the little nub on the side so you can twist and fine-tune the polarization while you’re shooting. What I love is that it replaces the “piecemeal” setup I used to run (a Tiffen Glimmer Glass plus a separate square hood) while also adding a CPL into the mix. I didn’t think I’d use a CPL much because I’m not really a landscape photographer, but I ended up enjoying it a lot for everyday daylight shooting—cutting glare, making clouds pop, and even letting me see more detail through reflections like car hoods and windshields. The 1/4 GMIST diffusion is also a sweet spot for me: not overpowering, just enough bloom to feel dreamy and fun. I also share a couple quirks—like the hood not always staying perfectly straight and the CPL rotation range being a bit awkward—but they weren’t deal breakers, and I’d still recommend it if you’re shopping for a hood/filter setup.
