About This Video

I’ve had my Fujifilm X100V for more than four years, and in this video I’m sharing the accessories I’m actually using in 2025—the ones that genuinely make the camera easier to carry, more comfortable to hold, and more fun to shoot with. I start with my strap setup: the Clever Supply Co. Minimal Anchor Strap with Peak Design anchors. I’m not that tall, so strap length matters a lot, and their short 28-inch option finally sits in that “just right” spot on my body (plus I can swap it to my other cameras instantly). From there I get into the Freewell thumb grip and why it made a bigger difference than I expected—especially because it adds real texture and still keeps a cold shoe mount available. I also break down my Freewell lens hood setup that combines a mist filter, CPL, and hood in one, including how it affects highlights and color (and yes, I talk about my past “diffusion filter blindness”). Finally, I show the Open Glass Studio ergonomic grip and how it changed the handling way more than I thought it would. My rule is simple: if an accessory helps me shoot more and think less, it’s worth keeping around.
