Welcome back to the channel—this video is all about a new creative B-roll challenge I’m judging: the Game Changers “Unlock the Feeling” challenge by Epidemic Sound. The goal is simple but super fun: make a 30-second video that conveys two different emotions, and the switch has to happen halfway through. The first 15 seconds should feel one way, and the final 15 seconds should flip into a totally different feeling—driven primarily by your music and sound effects. I show my own quick example to explain the concept: I started with this hollow, somber, empty vibe (dramatic piano + a sad single piece of bread on a plate), then I switched to something upbeat and hopeful (an elevated strawberry ricotta toast that “comes to life,” plus honey drizzle and hemp seeds… which, if I’m being honest, I don’t even really know what a hemp seed is). My example was pretty basic, but it gets the point across: let audio lead the emotion. When I’m judging, I’m looking for uniqueness, creativity, and execution—so don’t hold back on the crazy ideas. And yes, there are prizes for the top three submissions, including a brand new camera for first place.
