About This Video

Have you ever eaten frozen yogurt and thought, “Wow, this is amazing. I want to make a commercial about this.” Just me? In this video, I teamed up with my director friend Matt to create a 10–15 second vertical “food porn” style spot for Yogenfruz (mango, blueberry, and strawberry). The brief was super specific: sexy macro shots, mouthwatering ASMR energy, real fruit on camera, and it can’t feel like a traditional ad—so we’re basically towing that weird line between polished commercial and organic social content. The main villain of this shoot was… time. Because frozen yogurt is frozen. That is until it’s not. My stress level went from a confident 3/10 to an 8/10 when I realized everything would melt mid-shot. We tried making fake froyo (it was not convincing), then got invited into their test kitchen, and the real MVP was having their food technologist come to set to prep product properly. From there it was turntable coverage, spoon dips, and a swirl shot that absolutely cooked me (piping bag control is harder than it looks). In the edit, I punched in hard on the swirl, added reflections and subtle flares, and used Higgsfield to “fix” my weakest shot—turning a normal strawberry into an exploding slow-mo moment. Client liked it, stress levels came down, and you get the final froyo spot.
