About This Video

In this video I’m diving into Canva’s new Magic Studio, and honestly… I keep thinking they’ve hit a new peak, and then they just outdo themselves again. I walk through a few AI features I’m personally obsessed with, starting with Magic Expand—taking a photo that doesn’t fit a 16x9 frame and having Canva generate believable scene extensions in seconds. From there I clean things up with Magic Eraser, because there’s always some little “funky” artifact you want to fix fast. Then I push it further with Magic Edit: I paint over areas and prompt changes like “sunset in the distance,” add more forest, swap a random red solo cup for a fishing tackle box, and even throw in things like a boat, seagulls, and a camo vest. The big takeaway is speed—this is the kind of creative iteration that normally takes way longer, and here it’s happening in minutes. Finally, I show Magic Grab, which separates the product from the background into editable layers. That means I can make the bottle pop with contrast/vibrance/sharpness while cooling or blurring the background for depth, then even animate the whole design with Magic Animate. It’s a legit game-changer for quick product visuals and content assets.
