In this GRWM, I’m playing with my current beauty basket—aka the products I’m actively testing before they earn a permanent spot in my collection (or get tossed into the declutter bin). I start with the Haus Labs foundation in 100 Light Neutral, and I’ll be honest: the first time I tried it, it felt thicker than the “serum-like” hype. This time, shaking it well and applying it in thinner layers made a huge difference. The finish looked really nice on my skin, but the undertone still leans a little yellow/orange on me, so next time I’m going to try adding a touch of blue pigment to correct it. I also use a few tried-and-true favorites while I test newer things: The Saem concealer (still one of the best, especially for the price) and my Bobbi Brown Pale Yellow powder to smooth and subtly correct tone. I test two Makeup by Mario products I’ve been on the fence about—his Soft Sculpt Skin Enhancer (gorgeous formula, but a bit rosy terracotta on me) and a limited edition eyeshadow palette that ultimately just doesn’t suit my warm autumn coloring, so I declutter it. For cheeks, I use the Chanel spring blush palette and confirm I’m keeping it—it’s sheer, buildable, and gives life back to the face. I finish with the Beauty Pie Wrap Star tubing mascara (pretty, but my lashes started to fall), then tweak the whole look with my favorite Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess bronzer to make everything feel more cohesive.
