Chanel Blush Palette
This Chanel blush palette for spring is a keeper for me—I’ve been using it and loving it. The formula is sheer and buildable, so I can use all four shades to create a bright, healthy cheek without it getting heavy, and it’s perfect for adding life back into the face.

“5 and this is so inexpensive it's a small container but I feel like for the price you can't beat it yeah my complexion is actually looking way better than I thought it would I'm going to jump off camera really quick and do my eyebrows um because I don't really have any new eyebrow products that I'm testing and I'll be right back all right so eyebrows are as good as they're gonna get I do want to powder a little bit under my eye though before it creases so I'm gonna get a little bit of this Bobbi Brown powder this is the pale yellow sheer finish pressed powder and I really like this because it's really smooth and a lot of the times when I feel like foundations like the coloring is a little bit off this yellow powder kind of brings it back to where I need it to be so I'm just going to powder a little bit around the eyes I do find that the coloring on my face and with the foundation's a little bit off if you look because that's kind of my color you can tell it actually is a little bit green a little bit Olive and then my face is almost a little bit like pale Orange it's not so far off to where people would like notice it a lot but I do kind of want to bring it around to be a little bit more yellow but I think I would be able to just remedy that if I added just a little bit of blue in the foundation when I put it on so okay that feels good okay so what I want to get into now there are two products for makeup by Mario that I was on the fence about one is this which is the soft skulk transforming skin enhancer and then also this eyeshadow palette just because I feel like the tones are a little bit off so I'm going to try to use it in a slightly different way see if I still like it if not it's going to go my declutter so I'm gonna go in with the same brush I used on my foundation and then just start putting this in the areas to warm up the face and I think if the coloring is okay for me because I find that it does go a little bit like it's like a Rosy terracotta at least the shade is but this was the shade that I found to be the closest to what I needed as far as like in the depth from what they had so I'm just going to kind of put it around and see how it works do like this I just wish maybe I'll look at the other colors and play around because I'm like looking in the monitor here I just wish it was like less Rosy um but that's okay all right so I've got that on I'm gonna um do I want to do yeah we'll do eye shadow first so I'm going to go in with this and I'm gonna put a base layer first of this kind of like cream shade here so let me get the light out there you go that's a better like representation of the color it's actually close to the depth of my skin but it does lean a little bit like Orange but I guess that should be okay with the foundation I have on today so I'm just going to put that all over kind of for a base the problem with these Shadows for my complexion is there's not a shadow in here it can kind of brighten up the eye area because it is around my skin tone so now I want to go in hmm I'm gonna go in with the gray because that's another one I kind of had a little bit of issue with was it because this gray leans I prefer a gray that leans a little bit more kind of like a warm gray and this is definitely like a cool Rosy Gray I still think if put in the right places I can make it work so I'm just going to put a little bit here on the outer and into the crease right here yeah it's definitely a Rosy gray I'm gonna take a little pencil brush and I'm gonna start to work some of the under the eye that's typically where I like to use Grays the most are right under the eye to kind of cast a shadow and when people do contour and things like that they're like well Shadows are gray you want to use a gray Contour but there are multiple different kinds of gray there's warm gray there's cool gray there's Rosy gray there's the the cool gray that almost leans on blue so it's actually finding the right shade of gray for you that's gonna do the best I'm gonna go in now with this shade up here and by the way these are super Dusty I don't know if you could see that but I'm gonna go in and I'm going to blend over this gray on the top at least try to make it a bit more warm but it's kind of hard when you have the orange and the rosy gray because overall this palette then likes to lean pink on the eye even now with that Rosy gray in this kind of like orange creamsicle shade it's still Rosy on the eye which typically doesn't go well with my complexion so these are super powdery but they if you're light handed with them they do blend out seamlessly but I just wish the palette leaned I don't know a little bit different like this obviously leans a little bit like Peach and Rosy and I wish that these Shades leaned a little bit more like mustard I'm gonna go in with this Deeper Shade here and this one up here and then move it over the lid I'm gonna go back into the gray now just to kind of deepen hopefully it blends with those yeah they they all blend so well together but also because this formula Blends very well together if they were to try to make this formula kind of like where you get a bit of cool and a bit of warm it's gonna end up looking way muddier than it already does here so it does make sense why he made the palette like this but I would just love if they came out with this palette maybe in a different sort of like where it leaned a little bit different okay so the big attraction to this palette are the Sparkle shades and I'm gonna Swatch them all for you because I find that they're very similar they just lean slightly different so obviously you can see this one is more of like your champagne this one is more a tiny bit golden and then this one leans pink there's not a huge difference between them so I'm going to try to go in with the more champagne one up here and then just tap it over my lid and then I'm going to blend it a little bit because I'm not into like the super like amount of Sparkle but I do like maybe just a hint to where things don't look flat I'm going to go ahead and put it out there I'm going to go ahead and put this in my declutter bin so I'm done with the eyeshadows and here's the thing this is not a bad look just the colors overall are not doing it for me so let's go into some blush so this is a recent purchase for me and this is the Chanel blush palette that they came out with for spring I have the shade um nine five seven ten dress so there are two ones this is the lightest one they say you can use this on your eyes or on your face I have just been using it on my face this isn't my first time using it and I can tell you that I really do like this palette but these Shades again all just lean too pink for me to put on my eyes but they're perfect to slightly brighten up the cheek area just a little bit and this one right here even though it looks kind of Brown on my skin it does lean so here it is it has like a again like that sort of Rosy terracotta sort of shade so I think that'll be perfect to kind of pair over what I just put on uh my cheek let me find a good brush I think this will be a good brush for that so I'm gonna go in and then just go over that cream stuff and put this on the back of the cheeks I actually like to use all four Shades in this together to kind of build a cheek but yeah definitely no good on my eyes and I already know I'm keeping this because I've been using it and loving it I was actually surprised at how much I loved it which is crazy to say when you buy a product like you should fully expect to love it um but from the photos online I was afraid that these were going to be too deep for me and I wasn't gonna love it and I thought this would be too Berry but fortunately there's such a sheer buildable formula that you can build it like exactly where you want it so I'm going to go in actually with both of these and then just kind of put over this area so pretty it's like just the right amount you can definitely blend it up for more but I think that this is like the perfect amount of flush I might actually use that brown shade though that I use on the back of the cheeks on the eyes just to make it more cohesive because I feel a little bit of a disconnect between the eyes except on this brush and just work it yeah it definitely goes Rosy this is a clean brush with nothing on it and once on the skin it definitely does lean Rosy so I don't know that I loved that decision that I just made there we go that's all right though and then the last shade is this one right here which is like a cheek topper I would say it's a little too deep to be a highlighter for me um but it's a gorgeous like light peach cheek topper and it just adds so much life so pretty maybe I will use some of it on the inner corner here to kind of tie the eye look in now I'm like not loving the eye look I don't think it looks bad which is not my personal taste I am going to use whatever's left on this brush because that's where I use the gray earlier on the under eye and then just kind of try to smudge this a little bit more to give a bit more shadow on the under eye all right so I do want to put a setting spray on before I go in with mascara and this is The Hourglass soft focus setting spray and then once that all settles in I'm going to go in and powder the areas that I just want to look less shiny but before that I did get a new mascara I wanted to try this is the beauty pie wrap star tubing mascara this is my first time using it I'm going to zoom you in a little bit and then so you can kind of see the brush so that's a really interesting brush there the formula though seems somewhat wet so that's interesting I'm going to take the tip off of the brush like that extra mascara that was there I'm not going to curl my lashes or anything like that we're just going to go in so some mascaras as you push up and as you apply them you don't really need curling and this one as I'm doing it and as I'm pushing up I think I do need a little bit of a curl because this isn't like curling it for me but maybe as it dries I keep applying it yeah they're pushing up a little bit more now okay so that's kind of like one dip like one coat in there I think it looks nice I'm gonna do the other side so I'm gonna go in for a second coat on the right side here I'm like looking at my skin and I think that my skin actually looks super nice so I don't know what my I am going to correct it next time I use it if you want to see a video where I kind of like make the corrections of like what I didn't like about today's makeup let me know I think that might be a fun video to see um but I actually really am liking this mascara and I was a little bit worried because the brush doesn't it's like normally I do better with like the plastic kinds of brushes that apply product but this one is more of like a bristly type brush and I didn't think I would like it as much but I think it's doing a beautiful job and I feel like mascara just like saves an eye look because I felt like it was looking like just two off and now I think this eye look looks perfectly fine on my eyes and I'm like do I do I now regret like putting it in my declutter bin all right I think that looks great I do have like a little bald patch situation happening over here in my brow so I'm going to kind of try to see if I could do like a comb over situation but I'm like trying to let my brows grow a little bit and I think I've like caused like an issue there where the hairs aren't quite meeting up yet so I'm just gonna fill in my bald patch also I've had this eye like eyebrow powder for so long the lid has come off and I'm still using it and I'm getting so annoyed with it um but I looked and I don't think the 21 days of beauty are doing this I feel like just for a brow powder it's so expensive but I'll suck it up and continue to use it broken so I'm looking around where I might need to powder and I'm actually just going to go back in with this yellow powder and see I like to use it to brighten up the under eyes but I wonder what it's going to do like if I try to brighten up like the areas like on my forehead and my chin and things like that so I do have a brush that I like to use to apply powder that I cannot find here it is so I'm gonna go in with this sort of like flat type brush over the chin yes and when I kind of go around here I like to leave the cheek itself kind of glossy still but then just kind of correct everything else around it and then one final Spritz here I don't know why I'm like putting a spray on my face I'm not going anywhere all right let's go into lips so my lips are super chapped right now and you might see I have a little blemish right here between like in the center of my Cupid's bow here and my lips are chapped because I got a little pimple coming up there and then I just kept like messing with it like whatever but now my lips are trapped because of it so I'm gonna go over and we're gonna try to just do something a little bit more moisturizing on the lips I'm gonna go over with Charlotte Tilbury iconic nude and then I have this lipstick it's kind of a red should I go red I'm going to blot it in the center so this is from Roman and then the moisturizing part comes in I'm gonna use a little bit of my eight hour cream from Elizabeth Arden like a teeny tiny amount like just that much on the center I'm gonna put more mascara on this side I feel like it's falling and maybe I just didn't put enough on there all right so let's just kind of go through product by product things that I was testing and I'll tell you what I like and what I don't like about them so starting off the foundation so I actually like the way it looks on my skin and I don't know let me get like a mirror like close up before I felt like it looked a little bit cakey on me and today I don't find that it does so I'm wondering if like by me shaking it better and going in and sort of like thin layers was actually what did it I would not say that the formula is a serum formula though like it says but I do like the way it looks the one thing though that I don't love about it is the fact that it does still lean a little bit off for me and so next time you use it I'm going to try it with a little bit of blue pigment to see if it goes to the tone that I need it to be so this right here I actually love the way this Blends out again the tone is a little bit like Rosy terracotta which definitely goes with today's look but that's typically not what I go for so I'm gonna go into Sephora and see if there are maybe it's some other Shades that might lean a little bit maybe like warmer or muted maybe a little bit more yellow I think is what I'm looking for um because this is a little bit off but I still think it Blends out so beautifully that it can still be used as a great sort of base for comparison a lot of people do not like the Chanel Tandy Chanel because it leans kind of like yellowy so I just want to Swatch them right here I'll put them here side by side for you see the difference so a lot of people don't like this one because they say it leans a little bit like orange yellow and it actually works out beautifully on my skin tone and then you can see here how this looks differently I will say though that I feel like this is creamier and it can blend out thinner it's like it just Blends it warmth to the warmth of your skin obviously but it warms up on the skin and it steers out beautifully and I think that the formula of this is gorgeous and I think it is an easier blend than this chanowan which is like a sort of cream gel to powder kind of texture but here they are side by side on my fingers you can kind of see like when I put them side by side you can definitely see that the Mario one is more Rosy um they're both great products but the formula of this one also you can see it kind of even though the Chanel is sheer this is more sheer and it blends like way easier and then let me yeah see the Chanel just you got to work a little bit more to blend it as you put it on all right so either way I do think though it's a gorgeous formula so if your skin has a more Rosy tint to it anyway this might be ideal for you um so then this palette I'm just decluttering it it's a gorgeous palette but the it's just not for me if you were if you have a cool muted skin tone um which I'll have an example of a cool muted skin tone on the screen but um this would definitely be a gorgeous sort of palette for you I just don't my skin tone I'm definitely I would say a little bit more warm I'm what's considered like a warm Autumn or a true Autumn and um and I'm I have I have more of a bright sort of complexion as far as or there's more contrast like I have lighter skin dark hair whereas in it's I'm not muted whereas if you're somebody with light hair sort of like light skin light eye like that's more muted if that makes sense so there's a lot of contrast in my skin and then this just isn't ideal for me so I'm gonna go ahead and pass that on to somebody which I have somebody in mind that I think that would be beautiful on um so then this mascara from beauty pie so I actually like the way it coated my lashes but what I don't like is my lashes are kind of falling but I'm wondering if I actually curled the next time I'm going to try it again with lashes curled first and see if that works out a little bit better I think I think it's okay but um I bet it's gonna be better with curled and then if not then it's kind of a dud because normally tubing mascaras are really good at holding a curl um I tried this out from Roman and I believe I got this in like their Advent calendar box like one of those that I got um oh and I just realized on the bottom there's like a date opened thing where you can fill that in yourself can I how cool is that I've never seen that before um either way I actually do like it but not with this look see how bright that is though I feel like it did help to brighten up my complexion but I just don't like it with this look now this I absolutely love I'm gonna get so much use out of this I'm using every single shade in it um it's well worth the 90 dollars and here's the thing let me see how much product is in this [Music] um so there's 12 grams let me see how much much product is in one Chanel blush because I think one Chanel blush is around 45”
