In this video I’m building my December everyday/travel makeup bag—the one I actually use all month so I’m not scrambling right before a trip trying to remember brushes, base products, or the one lip thing I can’t live without. I’m traveling for Army stuff the first weekend of December, and then Christmas to see family, so I’m keeping it polished, neutral, and not overdone. I start with a little skincare (because winter skin is dry and my nose has been extra dry lately), then I build a cohesive base that’s sheer, moisturizing, and easy to travel with. I walk through my go-to brow routine (powder first so it looks less obvious), my current concealer obsession (yes, I said it—then told myself to calm down), and the face products I’ve been reaching for: Fenty cream bronzer, a brightening Rose Inc cream blush, and a travel-friendly Laura Mercier powder. For eyes, I pack one easy cream shadow plus my Clinique Teddy Bear quad, then I add sparkle with a Dior holiday quint that I can’t believe I hadn’t used yet. I finish with setting spray, lashes, and a few lip options—plus I tack on a mini Black Friday haul, including Vilhelm Mango Skin (I finally bought it) and a few Viseart picks.
