In this video I’m swatching and trying on four shades of the Westman Atelier Suede Matte Lipsticks, specifically with mature lips in mind. The shades I’m focusing on are in the nude family: Mimi and Reine (true nudes), plus Petal and Je Rêve (pinky nudes). I also show you the packaging up close—these are weighty, elegant, and refillable with a magnetic cap—and we talk about what really matters: texture, comfort, and whether a “matte” lipstick can actually look flattering on mature skin. Before we get into the lip shades, I apply my Westman Atelier Complexion Drops (I’ve been mixing shade 3 and 5 lately) and the Bronzing Drops in shade 2 so you can see the full look come together. Then we dive into the lipstick formula: it’s lightweight, hydrating, and buildable, with ingredients like peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamins C and E, and plant oils. My biggest takeaway? These are matte, but not that dry, flat kind of matte—they look nourishing on the lips and don’t settle into my lines.
