In this video I’m sharing a little roundup of new things I’ve been loving lately—some PR, some purchases—and it’s a really good mix of skincare, makeup, and a surprise perfume favorite. I start with Bloomeffects and their new Royal Tulip Elevate Creme, which I’ve been using for about a week and absolutely love for daytime. It has five ceramides (amazing for mature skin and menopause season), a tripeptide, and a vegan mucin from Japanese yam, and it gives me that “priming” type of finish without going hyper matte. I also talk about the Royal Tulip Bi-Phase Hydrating Tonic (beautiful essence step) and the updated Tulipscreen Dew Serum SPF 50 packaging—though I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite tinted SPF because the scent lingers. I also fell hard for Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. I used it with the Bloomeffects cream and loved the nourishment and glow it gave my skin before makeup. For makeup, I’m reviewing the new Westman Atelier Hydrobalm Lipsticks in Bob, English Rose, and Café Crème—gorgeous, unique colors with a light balmy feel (and a very mild mint sensation). Then I share Aora (a Mexico-based brand) including their stunning Miram palette, their glossy solid lip serum, and two eyeliners. And I wrap with Pixi Mimosa perfume—bright green opening into fluffy mimosa that wears close to the skin—and a quick mention of the Hanni Rich Rinse body wash.
