In this video I’m walking you through my fall skincare transition—nothing major, just a few smart tweaks as the weather turns cooler. For mature skin (and especially in menopause season), my biggest focus is keeping things gentle and leaning harder into hydration and barrier support. I’m still using a foaming cleanser here and there, but I’m prioritizing very gentle options like the Merit Great Skin Cleanser and, as always, my beloved cleansing oils. As we move into fall and winter, I also reach more often for thicker essences and layering steps—think Mara Pearl Peptide Essence, plus emulsion-style hydrators like Apis Flower Sap or Live Botanical Ambient Moisture Liquid. I also talk about gentle exfoliation for this time of year, because I want smoothness without stressing my skin. I’m loving Eadem Cashmere Peel for that “hydrating + gentle exfoliation” balance (lactic acid, gluconolactone, and azelaic acid are such a great combo). For post-summer texture around my chin, I’ll occasionally bring in mild salicylic acid options like Alpyn Beauty Clarifying Face Oil or Remedy for Pore Size. And for creams, InnBeauty Extreme Cream is one of my favorite “not too thick, not too occlusive” moisturizers for right now.
