Today’s video is basically Christmas for me because we’re doing a HUGE tack room haul while I’m building out my new dream horse barn. The building part is fun, but it’s also a ton of hard work—this is the part where it feels like everything is coming full circle, because I get to start filling the barn with the supplies my horses (and honestly all my animals) actually need. I’m filming right inside my future tack room, and you’ll see the build-out video soon, but for now it was time to stock up. I partnered with Corro again (we did this back when I built my first barn), and I grabbed my real “must-haves”: gloves, Vetrap, blood stop and Wonder Dust, my aluminum bandage spray (I always keep that on hand), and fly control because I’m in Florida and the bugs are absolutely rampant. I also picked up grooming goodies like the quilted cloud cloth, Tiger’s Tongue (one of my favorite tools ever), braiding bands, and a few higher-end Grooming Deluxe brushes and a magnetic hoof pick. And then the big surprise: a huge tub of Sand Clear for sandy Florida ground and ground-feeding horses. Everything’s linked below in my video description so you can build your own tack room kit.
