Welcome back to the barn build—this video is all about one of my favorite parts so far: getting my new tack room actually set up, organized, and decorated so it’s finally a functioning space. In the last video we built it out (cabinets, sink, couch, all the things), but this time I brought in all my tack, feed, and supplies, purged a little, and then did the not-fun part… cleaning. I had leather tack that was honestly gross, so I used the tractor bucket to help wash a bunch of it, let everything dry out, and then started putting it all away. Once everything was clean, I organized my tall cabinet using bins so leaks don’t ruin the wood, and I set it up by “zones” so I can actually find things fast—washing supplies, grooming, fly spray, and medical/wound stuff up higher. Then we tackled feed storage: we found bins that fit the cabinet, but they were too tall, so we literally cut them down, sanded the edges, and test-fit two full bags of feed (plus my scoop). I finished it off with a faux cowhide rug, a little table, some sentimental pictures, and cute touches like my donkey pillow and a tack room sign outside—now it’s usable, cozy, and totally my style.
