The END of the VW Transporter T6.1 ready for the VW Ford alliance After 8 years of the VW Transporter T6 the production is coming to an end and will be replaced by a new model, that has not officially not yet been named or announced. We know the new VW Transporter will be built in Turkey at the Ford factory alongside the Ford Transit Custom which it will share the same platform. Exactly what will be shared we do not know.
