Today you join me at Landseer Leisure for a proper look around their brand new Ford Tourneo Custom campervan conversion (built on the higher-spec Camper Donor). I’ve been a VW Transporter fanboy for years, so I went into this one genuinely curious—could a Ford-based build change my view? Straight away, it’s the interior that got me: that green cabinetry (no idea why, it’s not even my favourite colour) paired with the solid oak worktop just looks phenomenal, and the whole thing feels really high quality. I run through the key living kit as well—Sterling Power double induction hob, Clayton LPS2 power system, Montana control panel showing battery %, solar input and output, plus a 240W roof solar panel. Heating and hot water are handled by Webasto, there’s a Webasto 42L fridge with a freezer box, and you even get a hot/cold external shower point which is brilliant for beach days, dogs, and keeping the muck outside the van. Then it’s onto the practical stuff: Mobiframe 3-seat bed on rails (so you can shift the space depending on passengers or storage), vanshade blinds with Alcantara finish, loads of LED lighting, and a really nice pop-top setup with the SCA sprung system and scenic canvas. And yes—I got to the end and realised I’d basically found no negatives… apart from my own badge-snob thoughts.
