Welcome to a Brand New Camper Van build series, and this one is going to be a little bit different! This is a completely empty, blank canvas VW Transporter T32 Commerce Pro (2L Diesel). No floor, no insulation, and definitely no kitchen! This van isn't going to be your usual camper conversion. It’s being custom-built as a modular track-day and adventure van—designed to carry motorbikes and mountain bikes, sleep in comfort, and then transform back into a plush, Caravelle-style daily driver. I NEED YOUR HELP, CONVERTERS! Because this is a twin-slider and we need maximum flexibility, I am actively looking for recommendations for: Three Removable Single Seats: Who can supply and fit these? Sound Deadening and insulation is required A Removable Bed System: What are the best modular options out there that don't take up the whole van permanently? Alloys & Styling: What graphite or black alloys should we go for? Drop your suggestions, company recommendations, and links in the comments below! I bought a VW Transporter T6 Kombi Highline van 140bhp diesel SWB with tailgate. I have lots more to do though, I have a new electrical system, using Victron components and a Lithium LIFEPO4 battery, so I obviously need to install some power devices. I have a new sound system, with Focal speakers and ibus 2.1 amp, Playstation PS4, which will be removable, TV's on headrests. Lots for me to look forward too and it would be nice to take you on the journey. Van life is amazing, get out and explore, it's a great adventure. About This Video

This video kicks off a brand new build series, and it’s a bit different to my usual “full camper” stuff. I’m showing you around a completely empty VW Transporter T7 (T32 Commerce Pro, 2.0 diesel) that’s basically a blank canvas from the back of the front seats. No floor, no load liner, no insulation, no trims—just metal. It’s got the bulkhead delete (so you can literally see the airbags and everything) and it’s a twin-slider with twin electric sliding doors, which is brilliant for access but makes the layout choices more interesting. The plan isn’t a permanent kitchen-and-units conversion. This is being built as a modular track-day and adventure van: carry motorbikes and mountain bikes, sleep comfortably, then convert back into a plush Caravelle-style daily driver. Phase one is sound deadening, insulation, flooring and carpeting—because driving it right now is seriously echoey (I could even hear fuel sloshing around at low speed). The urgent bit is three removable single rear seats, so I’m asking converters for recommendations—especially for a twin-slider floor and seat system. I also cover the future phases: a removable bed system (not something that eats the whole van), some electrics for charging and a fridge (portable power station could be the answer), plus glazing options, trims, towbar for track days, and styling like suspension and graphite/black alloys. There are a couple of niggles too: the dealer prep sounded poor, and the headlights have condensation that needs sorting on a brand new van.
