About This Video

Today I’m at Landseer Leisure having a proper look around the MAN TGE Artemis (and yes, I’ve already made the classic mistake of wearing a white t-shirt with a white van). I’ve shown this van before, but this time I wanted a full walk-around inside and out, because it’s one of those conversions where the more time you spend in it, the more clever details you notice. From the outside it’s got that proper adventure vibe with BFGoodrich all-terrains on Rogue alloys, a Yakkt roof rack and awning, privacy glass, and a 500W solar panel (the biggest you can get on a medium wheelbase TGE). Inside, it’s packed with genuinely useful “hidden” features—not gimmicks. The double-opening Dometic 75L fridge is brilliant for outside drinks and inside cooking, and the pull-out hidden sink is one of my favourite touches (proper metal tap too, not the plastic chrome-effect stuff). The shower is full height, and there’s a Joolca toilet hidden under the tray, plus a sliding privacy door that doesn’t steal space. Electrics-wise, it’s a serious setup: 460Ah Roamer lithium, Victron Multiplus 2 3000W, Orion DC-DC, solar and hookup. Add the Truma 6DE with iNet control and the Garmin touchscreen for lights/heating/battery monitoring, and you’ve got a van that’s been thought through properly—especially with how much customer input went into this prototype. Pricing starts around £99,000, and I’m hoping to catch up with the owners later after they’ve lived with it.
