Hey track gang—welcome back to Boeville & Newtown Episode 41-2025, Ops Session Part 4. In this one I pick up where last week left off and I finally show what happens at Boeville Yard after the freights clear. I go through the car cards and waybills, sort out what’s actually destined for the warehouse versus what needs to be reclassified into the yard, and I talk through how I’m using arrival/departure tracks to keep the railroad flowing. You’ll see me shuffle cars like the Soo Line, Swift, and Autocar to the warehouse, reclassify others onto Track 1, and stage cars that are headed back out toward Wert Industrial. Then we head up to the north end and run the through freights—Train 13 south and Train 14 north—complete with the usual “real railroad” problems like couplers that don’t want to behave and me discovering I’ve got more boxcars than I’ve got room for (yeah… that happened). After that, I start building the next sets of trains (17 & 18) and get into the paperwork side of ops—missing waybills, making one up to keep things moving, and rebalancing the yards by sending some excess boxcars north. We wrap up by staging for next week (17–20), and I tease a little secret plan for Train 19 south.
