About This Video

I kicked this one off with a very important announcement: I’m quitting YouTube… April Fools! I’m not going anywhere. After the chaos of March (and me having to remember what month comes after what), this video is my full Month Recap Vlog—what I finished, what went sideways, and what’s coming next. March was all about getting quilts out of the “multiple stages of completion” pile. I share several finishes, including my Trellis Garden quilt made with over-dyed Tula Pink (quilted by Tiffany, who somehow has a longarm brain I will never understand). I also talk through a live-stream quilt that ended up with tension issues—eyelashing on the back and all—and why I chose “done” over “perfect.” Same theme shows up again with a Halloween quilt (Abacus quilting, because it’s quick and helps hide pleats/wrinkles) and a big Mother Goose colorway quilt where my binding stitch wandered off line. It happens. Beyond the sewing, I’ve been buried in behind-the-scenes admin: getting my LLC set up, planning not one but TWO quilting cruises, pushing a land-based retreat toward launch, and keeping the Sew Off Kilter Podcast episodes moving. April’s going to be jam-packed, so buckle up—normal is just a setting on the dryer.
