About This Video

Goodbye 2025 and hello 2026—this December recap is basically 90% Disney (and I’m not even mad about it). I’m walking you through my week at Disney World with Katisha, plus linking up with Mary and Becca for all the bestie time and the full-on “Disney bubble” reset. It was my first time doing Disney at Christmas, and listen… I’m not the biggest Christmas fan, but Disney absolutely warmed my Grinch heart. We did Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party twice, ate way too many Gideon’s cookies, and yes—Katisha and I got evaced off Figment, which was weirdly iconic. On the sewing side, December was a little chaotic because travel ate my schedule and I missed a couple livestreams (thank you for keeping the algorithm fed!). I did get a few things moving: I started a ByAnnie Drop Zone bag using a mini charm pack Mary gave me, finished and gifted my niece the Sassy Sunflower quilt, and got another quilt top fully quilted at Becca’s—now it just needs binding and my new labels (new logo, who dis?). I also finished another pride flag top that’s ready for the longarm, kept plugging away on Cotton Cuts Puzzle Mystery Quilt “Under the Sea,” and started prep for my QuiltCon quilted jacket using Patrick Lose Glisten fabric. Busy, messy, and honestly pretty perfect.
