Heat. Heat. Yep—welcome back to regular schedule. In Frosted Quilt Part 4, I’m settling in for a good old-fashioned sew-and-chat session while I finish up the Deco Frost “Frosted” quilt top. We’ve been working through this Andover pattern for a bit, and today is all about taking those finished rows and sewing them together into one cohesive quilt top. It’s the satisfying part where everything finally starts looking like an actual quilt instead of a pile of units. As I’m stitching, I talk through what I’m watching for (like accidentally flipping a row, or seams that press weird and need a little “fussing” to line up). This quilt has bias edges that love to stretch and morph, so I’m keeping it real: I’m aiming for “as close as possible,” not perfection. This isn’t a show quilt—this is a modern, bold, playful finish that’s meant to get used. I also share some life updates (Thanksgiving plans, upcoming schedule changes, and a Cutterpillar live event), plus a little fabric detour into Tula Pink Graywork—because of course I did.
