In this video I do a super quick, real-world comparison between the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy A53, and honestly… it’s the kind of matchup that makes a three-year-old mid-range feel like a budget phone. The Snapdragon Elite chip in the S25 is just out of this world compared to what’s inside the A53, and you can see it immediately in basic stuff like swiping, pulling down quick settings, and even something as simple as checking for Play Store updates. On the S25 it’s unnecessarily fast. On the A53, it’s dragging its tail. I also jump into RAM and Good Guardians (Memory Guardian) because that’s where a lot of the “why does this feel slow?” comes from. The A53 has fewer options and, in my testing, Quick Switching didn’t even work as well as Standard. On the S25, I’ve got 12GB and multiple modes (Quick Switch, Speed Up Top App), and the whole experience stays smooth even when I’m bouncing around. My big takeaway: the A53 isn’t a bad phone, and the design is still nice, but for how I use my device—YouTube editing, photo/video, heavy multitasking, Android Auto—flagship power matters. The S25 just does everything without a blip, and the battery efficiency I’m getting so far is on another level.
