The Galaxy A53 was my little experiment to see if I could really rock a three-year-old mid-range phone in 2026. The design is still great and the cameras are decent, but the processor and RAM started showing their age and it became a nuisance for my workflow.
Pros
- +Still has a clean Samsung design I genuinely like
- +Cameras are decent for a mid-range phone
- +Can still handle basics if you’re not a heavy power user
Cons
- -Noticeably slower app loading and update checks
- -Quick Switching in Memory Guardian didn’t work well for me
- -Struggles more with heavy loads like Android Auto multitasking
