The Fujifilm X100V: A Game Changer in the World of Compact Cameras Fujifilm 100v Review In this video, I break down my initial thoughts on the Fujifilm 100v after using it on a recent photoshoot. Fujifilm cameras have a lot of benefits. Compact size, stylish design, beautiful film presets, and image quality. I plan on testing out more Fujifilm cameras and lenses on this channel soon. About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down my initial thoughts on the Fujifilm X100V after taking it on a real fashion shoot in downtown LA (Arts District). I wanted a more filmic, creative look for a floral-inspired concept with my model Isabella, and the X100V felt like the perfect “limitations” camera: it’s compact, stylish, and locked to that 23mm (35mm equivalent) fixed lens that I already love for fashion/portraits. Because I couldn’t zoom, I had to move my body and actually work for the composition—which honestly made the shoot more fun. I also walk through my simple lighting setup (Forza 500 in a big softbox with a grid) and why Fuji’s film simulations are a huge reason to even consider this camera. Being able to preview the “grade” while I shoot—and even bake it into JPEGs (or shoot JPEG + RAW)—is a game changer for creative direction on set. I was genuinely surprised by the RAW quality too: the latitude, color, and dynamic range held up way better than I expected in Lightroom. That said, I keep it real about the trade-offs: the fixed lens can feel limiting long-term, the menu system slowed me down, and video is just not where this camera shines (no stabilization, 4K overheating, and clunkier AF). I compare it to my Canon R6 and talk about why I might lean toward a Fuji X-E4 instead for interchangeable lenses and flexibility.
