Wide Angle Portraits? Can you shoot portraits with a wide-angle lens? Well, the rule in photography is to never shoot wide-angle portraits. Most portrait photography is done with a telephoto to medium telephoto lens. The most popular being the 85mm focal length. However, as you learn the techniques and basics. It’s important to experiment with trying new lenses. In my recent photoshoot, I got a chance to use the wide-angle lens - Sony 24mm 1.4 G Master Lens, and test it out during a model photoshoot.
