In this video, I’m sharing my vinyl record player setup and my mini record collection—basically the exact setup tour I wish had existed when I was trying to make everything fit my cozy, minimalist aesthetic. I walk you through the whole corner: the IKEA KALLAX unit in matte white (with eight cubbies), how I arranged my TV area nearby, and why this layout works so well for spacing the speakers while still keeping the record player sitting perfectly on top. I also show a few little details I love, like my cityscape painting from a flea market and the simple, functional decor I keep around the player. Then we get into the records themselves, including how I organize them and how I’m keeping the collection intentionally small. I share my Taylor Swift albums (with a lot of nostalgia attached), a couple of Sinatra records (including the Christmas one), Disney ultimate hits, and one of my most treasured records: the Stardew Valley complete OST—each disc is a different seasonal color and it’s just so special to me. I also talk about my decluttering rule (I need to be able to sing at least five songs from memory), why vinyl can be a pricey and space-heavy hobby, and the accessories I use to keep everything protected—outer sleeves, inner sleeves, and a cleaning kit.
