About This Video

In this video I’m sharing my current (very massive) book stack—everything I’m either reading right now, actively studying, or that I literally just finished. I walk through the stack by category: romantic suspense (my absolute favorite genre), children’s books/classics, philosophy, language learning (Hindi + a big French push), and then linguistics. If you like cozy, slow reading updates and a peek into what I’m learning lately, this is basically that—just in pile form. For romance, I talk about how obsessed I am with Anne Stuart and how I’ve been hunting down her older out-of-print books at thrift stores and used bookstores. I also share my “silly side quest” project: I printed her entire bibliography so I can highlight what I’ve read, note favorites, and eventually reach my goal of reading every single book she’s written. On the cozy classics side, I’m savoring Anne of Green Gables (maybe too hard), revisiting Magic Tree House for nostalgia, and I gush about The Secret Garden—while also being honest about the racism at the beginning and how I had to contextualize the time it was written. I also chat about reading non-fiction slowly (The Second Sex), finding comfort in pessimistic philosophy during a rough season, and my language goals—improving my Hindi reading/spelling and reaching B2 French within the next year. We end with the linguistics stack, including The Language Instinct and a couple library finds I’m excited to dig into.
