About This Video

In this cozy little “few days in my life” vlog, I’m bringing you along while I’m in that awkward in-between season of moving—where I’ve sold basically all my furniture because the dark wood just didn’t work with my new place (bluish-gray walls, bamboo-toned doors and floors), and now everything is kind of… on the ground. I also had a rough couple days with a migraine, so I’m taking things slow: simple chores, a late brunch, and easing back into my flexible work-from-home schedule (even if it turns into a “work in bed” kind of night because I sold my desk). The fun part is making a Chinese “beauty soup” I saw Vegan Bunny Chef share—this dessert soup uses ingredients I’d never tried before, like peach gum (peach resin) and snow ear. I walk through soaking everything, letting it simmer, and tasting it (spoiler: I definitely needed more rock sugar). Later, I switch gears into my art + stationery world: I test making mini versions of my foil prints with my finicky Minc machine, then I share a quick look at my art market display setup—bamboo tray, small bundles, and all. Even though the market itself felt like a failure, it was still a really helpful learning experience.
