About This Video

In this video I’m giving you a mini tour of my cozy, vintage roll-top writing desk—aka one of my favorite corners in my home. I found this desk secondhand for $50 (still can’t believe that), and I love that it has little imperfections because it makes it feel even more beautiful and lived-in. I also share my boho wicker chair find and how I use the top of the desk (including my essential oil diffuser… with a cat-safe twist). I walk through all the compartments and drawers and show exactly how I store my planning and journaling supplies: sticker pouches, washi samples for travel, mini notebooks (including old Hobonichi Weeks), fountain pen inks and supplies, and a whole section dedicated to my Tombow dual brush pens—which hilariously fit perfectly like the desk was made for them. I also share some gentle reminders from my own journaling journey: I don’t pressure myself to “finish” notebooks anymore. The point is to get your thoughts onto paper, let the words flow, and use what you have in a way that feels cozy and doable.
