Next Level Racing dropped two new sim seats—one for flight and one for racing—and since I prefer to do my flying on the ground, I had to get hands-on with the new EFS Formula-style seat. In this video I unbox it, show what’s included (yes, it’s double-boxed), and walk through installation on my rig. I also pair it with the optional Formula Pedal Upgrade because if you’re buying a Formula seat but keeping flat pedals, you’re basically half-assing the whole Formula 1 position. After setup, I break down the real-world fit and ergonomics at 5'11.5, including how close you are to maxing out adjustment if you’re around my height (and what that might mean for taller drivers).
