About This Video

We finally hit 5,000 subscribers, and instead of doing some over-the-top “cinematic journey” video, I wanted to just be real and talk. This video is my honest story of how this channel started (yes… with a Harlem Shake video back in engineering hostel days), how I uploaded random cringe stuff, then singing videos, and how everything changed during my COVID isolation. Being alone for 38 days pushed me into watching a ton of travel, tech, and filmmaking content—Peter McKinnon especially sparked that “I want to create” switch for me. From there I started editing on my phone, made small travel films from old footage, bought my first gimbal (DJI Osmo Mobile 3), and later committed properly with my Sony a6600—still my main camera. I kept learning lighting, color grading, and storytelling, and when my Egypt travel film took off, it made me realize travel films connect. The comments asking “how did you get the shot?” and “how did you do this edit?” pushed me into DaVinci Resolve tutorials, which became a big part of the Fenzir Films brand: travel + tech + filmmaking. I also share a giveaway bundle (first 25 users) as a thank you, and I end with the biggest takeaway: videos will flop, but don’t quit—keep showing up.
