About This Video

In this video I’m showing you how to create that viral “bouncy text” title inside DaVinci Resolve—straight in Fusion—and trust me, it’s easier than you think. I start by dragging a Text+ title onto the timeline, jump into Fusion, and set up the text (I’m using my favorite Inter font in black, but you can pick anything). The real magic is adding a Follower modifier, then using simple timing and a few keyframes on Offset Y to get that bounce. After the bounce is working, I polish it with a quick opacity animation in Shading so the text fades in cleanly (0 to 1 over 15 frames). Then I spice things up with a Drop Shadow and enable Motion Blur in the settings for a smoother, more premium feel—especially if you’re making travel reels, tech edits, or fast-paced social content. Finally, I show you how I save the whole thing to Power Bins so you don’t have to rebuild it every time; you can drag-and-drop the template into any project and just change the words. Quick workflow, clean result, and it’s reusable across all your edits.
