So as always, I dive into DaVinci Resolve and build a clean “SUBSCRIBE” animation from scratch using Fusion—beginner friendly, but it’s a long one. I literally walk you through the full node setup: starting with a Fusion Composition, making a subtle grid background, adding a vignette, and then dropping in a gradient clip (with Resize to match a 4K timeline), plus blur + a masked rectangle to get that soft, modern background. The main highlight is the liquid glass look. I show the exact repeatable steps I use every time: Displace (not Displace3D), the correct green/blue/yellow connections, offset/refraction settings, and how Spread gives you that “liquidy” glass feel. Then I animate the rectangles with that bouncy width keyframe pattern, smooth it in Spline (Ctrl+A, S), and enable motion blur for a more premium feel. After that, I build the full subscribe interaction: text animations using Follower (delay around 1.2), opacity keyframes, a mouse arrow path with easing, subtle hover using Camera Shake, button color change on contact, and a click animation by keyframing size. Finally, I show how I do the little intro zoom/yaw using an adjustment clip, and how to swap “Subscribe” to “Subscribed” right after the click.
